1. Personal Information we may collect from you
Our aim is to collect the minimum amount of data needed to perform our role.
We may collect personal information on your visits to the website including information you provide to us when you use our contact forms. The provision of your personal information via our contact forms is not a statutory or contractual requirement. Other information or personal information you share with us when completing our contact forms is at your sole discretion. If you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence.
Typical information we will collect from you in the course of our duties, will be your CV which normally contains your name, address, job title and contact details. This is also likely to include details of your work history, skills and experience.
We may also ask you to provide information upon the request of a client, for instance completion of a client form when applying for a role.
We may also request other personal identifiable data which could include passport or right to work and identity documentation, driving licence documentation, your birth certificate, bank account details and other financial information.

2. Where do we collect data from?
In addition to collecting data from you and our website we could collect data from other sources. These may be part of you responding to our advertising, as part of you being matched to a role we are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, as a result of a recommendation, from social media or generally in the course of us providing a service to you.
3. What is the lawful basis for us processing your personal data?
Our use of your information is permitted by applicable data protection law as it is to provide services to you in accordance with our legitimate business interests on your behalf, not being overridden by your privacy interests.

a) placement of a candidate into an employment role as defined by our clients; or the provision of resourcing, or consultancy
b) maintaining our records of our candidates, clients and contacts;

4. Do you have to give us the personal information we ask for?
No, you are not obliged to provide any personal information to us. However, we cannot fulfil any specific requests for information or provide you with our service unless you do so.
5. Do we process information about you without any human intervention at all?
No, we do not utilise any form of automated profiling currently. All our services involve human decision-making during the process. This may change in the future.
6. Who do we share your personal information with?
We will only share your information with anyone outside Strategic Insights with your prior consent.
Access to your personal data is strictly restricted to those within Strategic Insights who have legitimate business need.
For legal and compliance purposes we may be required to share your personal information upon receipt of a legitimate legal request from that authority.
7. Where is my personal information stored and how is it safeguarded?
The security and safeguarding of your data is of paramount importance to us.
We store your data on our servers and systems hosted by our industry leading suppliers.
As a business we have taken extensive security measures to prevent any unauthorised access or misuse of your data. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, you should be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the website or any third party; for this reason, any transmission is at your own risk. We will use strict operational procedures and adequate, technical and organisational security measures to prevent any unauthorised access, change, deletion or transmission of this personal information.
8. Data Retention
Generally, we will keep your information for as long as you wish to work with us. However, we do not wish to keep data for any longer than is necessary, so in most cases, this will be 2 years. If we have engaged with you more extensively or feel that we have a legitimate business need for doing so, this may be longer.

a) Right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information: You are entitled to request confirmation whether we process any of your personal information. Where this is the case, you may have access to your personal information and to certain information about how it is processed.
